What Is The Value Of Hiring A Coach?

Coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximize their personal and professional potential.

Coaching also helps you discover the following:

  • You want to create a life of abundance, balance, harmony, peace and happiness
  • You want to discover and honor your core values of what’s important in your life
  • You want to make significant changes in the quality of your life – in all aspects
  • You want to learn to live in the present moment and understand yourself more fully, using the lessons and experiences of the past; visualizing your future while honoring your core values
  • You want to learn to acknowledge and take away the power of the self-doubting part of you we deal with daily
  • You want to be successful in your life and business and actively work on what needs to change

Why Hire Barbara Perino?

There has to be a connection between me and the prospective client in order for the relationship to be successful. Our personalities need to blend and there has to be an alignment of what’s important in life and an element of trust in the relationship. The coaching space is a highly confidential space, where there is no judging, there is no “right” or “wrong” answer and the agenda ALWAYS comes from the client. It is my job to ask powerful questions (based on deep listening) of my clients to reflect on the change they want to make or what’s showing up in the conversation. You are the expert on you and your life - I am there to guide you to the path you want to take on your journey, whether it’s in your personal life or your professional life.

I value people, have compassion, respect and listen to what is being said – in words, emotions and the unspoken.

I have gone through quality professional coach training in a classroom setting and completed a very intense certification process.

After we design the coaching relationship, the sessions can be conducted in-person, by the telephone or for teams or groups – via workshops or team coaching. Coaching is becoming more and more recognized as a lifestyle enhancement for positive change in people.

Experienced coaches recognize if and when a client should be referred to a Psychotherapist instead of trying to work out a serious emotional or behavioral problem. There is a fine line between the two professions. A Psychotherapist treats certain mental or nervous disorders and there is typically a past history of life issues that need to be dealt with by a medically trained professional. A Coach works with mentally healthy people who are trying to change habits, enrich their lives, live more fully, set and achieve goals, etc. Coaches aren’t hired to “fix” someone as no one needs to be “fixed”. Something isn’t working or something needs to change. People have to want to be coached otherwise there is no value in hiring a coach.
