| A quote from The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: “We are not our feelings. We are not our moods. We are not even our thoughts. The very fact that we can think about these things separates us from them and from the animal world. Self-awareness enables us to stand apart and examine even the way we “see” ourselves – our self-paradigm, the most fundamental paradigm of effectiveness. It affects not only our attitudes and behavior, but also how we see other people. It becomes our map of the basic nature of mankind.” What a powerful statement!!!! If you simply take a breath, stand back and absorb what is being said you may start to think about “what am I all about”? “Why do I do the things I do?” “What gift do I bring the world”? “Who am I?” All great entry points to hiring a coach to start discovering your value, your contributions and your gifts. Having been trained through The CoActive Coaching model of CTI – I hold my clients naturally creative, resourceful and whole. People like interacting with people they like, trust and who really listen to them. The coaching space is very sacred with no judging and no right or wrong answers. The agenda is always the clients. I welcome the opportunity to walk along beside of you on your journey as you stretch into discovering new capabilities you didn’t realize you have. The real progress that occurs from “coaching sessions” is between the sessions when clients can really ponder inquiries, powerful questions and challenges that have been asked during the sessions. Slow change starts evolving in a direction the client knows they need to be headed. Please peruse my web site and contact me for a complimentary 30-minute sample session if you would like to learn more about my style of coaching.
